Today’s guest is a storyteller, writer, and photographer. She
experienced a second trimester loss due to incompetent cervix of
her baby girl.

didn’t recognize the early signs of labor as it was her first
pregnancy. She remembers having back pains but it never registered
that she was in active labor. Sahmia was rushed into the emergency
room due to her spontaneous labor and had her baby girl.
In today’s episode Sahmia shares her birth and postpartum
experience after losing her daughter, how therapy helped her
reconcile her new journey as an angel mother, and how she navigated
her postpartum body.
